NFL schedule 2012, Week 13: Redskins' Monday night showdown with Giants ... - SB Nation

The four NFC East teams will square off in two primetime games in Week 13.

Two primetime matchups between NFC East combatants highlight the week's slate of NFL games in Week 13, including a Monday-night showdown between the New York Giants and Washington Redskins that could help the Redskins close the gap on the division-leading Giants.

Coming off of two consecutive wins over division foes Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys, the 5-6 Redskins have climbed into a tie with the Cowboys for second place in the division, two games back of the 7-4 Giants. The Giants handled the Green Bay Packers easily last Sunday night, winning 38-10 in preparation for their showdown with the Redskins.

The Giants topped the Redskins, 27-23, in the teams' first meeting of the season, a Week 7 matchup at MetLife Stadium at East Rutherford, N.J.

Elsewhere, the Eagles and Cowboys will square off in a Sunday-night primetime meeting as the two jockey to stay in the NFC East hunt.

Here are some key weekend games to keep an eye on:

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys, Dec. 2, 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC

Washington Redskins vs. New York Giants, Dec. 3, 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
