NFL Playoff Scenarios: Tracking Every Projected Matchup - Bleacher Report

The Green Bay Packers are beginning to heat up after starting the season with a 2-3 record.

Since then, Aaron Rodgers' crew has won eight out of nine games—including its last two—and is currently a half-game behind the San Francisco 49ers for the No. 2 seed.

Clay Matthews and Jordy Nelson have been banged up of late and have missed games, and the Packers will be even more dangerous when the two of them are 100 percent healthy.

Meanwhile, the Chicago Bears have recently suffered a second-half slump, losing four of their last five games—not the kind of slide playoff teams usually get away with.

Brian Urlacher is out with a hamstring injury, and the team's defense has struggled since Week 11, when the 49ers scored 32 points on Monday Night Football

If the Bears' slide continues, there are three teams with a record of 7-6 ready to supplant Chicago for the No. 6 seed: the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings.
