Orlando Magic @ Los Angeles Lakers (12-2-12)

In a very emotional contest in Los Angeles, the Orlando Magic headed in to Staples to take on their former superstar, Dwight Howard for the first time since he played for Orlando. Nobody thought that a team of role players and young talent could compete with the star-studded Lakers, but the Magic used great teamwork (team record 34 assists) and hustle to take down Dwight Howard and the Lakers. Arron Afflalo finished with a season-high 30 points for the Magic and Glen Davis chipped in with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Second-year center Nikola Vucevic had his best game in a Magic uniform tallying 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Jameer Nelson caught fire in the fourth quarter, hitting two three-pointers late. He finished with 19 points and 13 assists. Kobe Bryant led the Lakers with 34 points, while Dwight Howard finished with 21 points and 15 rebounds, shooting 9-21 from the free-throw line. For me, this is one of the best games I've ever watched as a Magic fan and I'll remember this game for the rest of my days. A great win for the Magic, and a great victory for the Magic fans.
