In the past two games, Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has completed 48 of 60 passes for 549 yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions. The Falcons beat the New York Giants and the Detroit Lions by a combined 65-18.

Who's not

Philadelphia Eagles running back Bryce Brown broke out with 347 rushing yards and four touchdowns in back-to-back games against the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys. In the three games since, Brown has 32 carries for 58 yards -- a 1.8-yards-per-carry-average -- and no touchdowns.

Key number

208Rushing yards Adrian Peterson needs to break Eric Dickerson's NFL single-season record. The Vikings running back had 210 yards against the Packers on Dec. 2, and he has averaged 113 yards in 11 career games against Green Bay.

Best bet

Chicago (minus-3) at Detroit: The Lions' defense has allowed at least 24 points in seven consecutive games and more than 30 points in five of the seven.

Michael Crabtree needs 67 yards to become the first San Francisco 49ers receiver to top the 1,000-yard receiving mark since Terrell Owens in 2003.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady has thrown a touchdown pass in 47 consecutive games, tying Johnny Unitas for second all time behind Drew Brees.

Drew Brees needs 219 passing yards to reach 5,000 yards for the third time in five seasons. The New Orleans Saints quarterback had 5,069 yards in 2008 and last season bettered Dan Marino's NFL single-season passing mark by nearly 400 yards with 5,476.
