NBA roundup: Al Horford leads Hawks over Bulls; Kings' DeMarcus Cousins ... - Detroit Free Press

ATLANTA -- Al Horford (Grand Ledge) had 20 points and 10 rebounds, and every Atlanta starter scored in double figures as the Hawks routed the Chicago Bulls, 92-75, on Saturday night to snap a two-game losing streak.

Lou Williams added 16 points in his first start, and the Atlanta native led the way as the Hawks (16-9) outscored the Bulls, 61-33, in the second and third quarters combined in coach Larry Drew's 100th victory (100-73). Luol Deng paced Chicago (15-11) with 11 points.

Miami 105, Utah 89: LeBron James scored 30 points, Dwyane Wade added 21 points and seven assists, and the Miami Heat rode the strength of a big third-quarter run at home. James added nine rebounds and seven assists for the Eastern Conference-leading Heat, which won its fourth straight game. Marvin Williams scored 16 for Utah.

Houston 121, Memphis 96: James Harden scored 31 points with eight assists, and the host Rockets earned their third straight win. The Grizzlies entered the game allowing an NBA-low 89.2 points a game. But they had no answer for Harden. He did all his scoring in the first three quarters and reached at least 20 points for an eighth straight game.

DeMarcus Cousins was suspended indefinitely by the Sacramento Kings for "unprofessional behavior and conduct detrimental to the team." Cousins and Kings coach Keith Smart exchanged words in the locker room during halftime of Sacramento's 97-85 loss at the Clippers Friday night. Smart benched Cousins for the entire second half and ordered him to remain in the locker room. " ... The Dallas Mavericks waived Derek Fisher at the request of the veteran guard, who said he was having a difficult time being away from his family in Los Angeles. The 38-year-old strained a tendon in his right knee earlier in the week. ... ESPN reported that former Piston Rasheed Wallace has a stress fracture and chronic condition in his left foot. He's missed the last four games for the Knicks and is listed as day to day.
