The Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks highlight Sunday's NBA slate as they square off in a key game as both teams try to climb back in to the Western Conference playoff picture.
The Lakers sit 3.5 games back of the Houston Rockets for the final spot in the West, while the Mavericks are just one game behind L.A. While the Lakers have won seven of their last 10, they're still an abysmal 9-18 on the road. Meanwhile, the Mavericks have also played better of late, winning six of their last 10.
Sunday's schedule also features the Memphis Grizzlies visiting the Barclays Center to take on the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets are looking to overtake the Knicks for first place in the Atlantic Division and third place in the conference, which is key because both teams would like to avoid a second-round match-up with the Miami Heat.
The San Antonio Spurs finish their Rodeo Road Trip by facing the Phoenix Suns, while the Chicago Bulls head to Oklahoma City to face the Thunder. Here's a look at Sunday's full schedule (all times Eastern).
