7:54PM EDT October 26. 2012 - New England tight end Aaron Hernandez will miss Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams in London while he recovers from a sprained ankle.
Hernandez played the last two weeks but has not been at full strength since hurting his right ankle in the second game of the season. The Patriots on Friday listed him as out for the game at Wembley Stadium, giving him extra time to recover with a bye week coming up.
Hernandez had been expected to play a large role in the offense this year after having 79 receptions last season for 910 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Patriots arrived in London on Friday ahead of the sixth annual regular-season game to be played there.
Saints' Graham reportedly to be game-time decision
New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham is listed as questionable for Sunday night's showdown with the Denver Broncos because of his ankle injury, which sidelined him last week.
The Times-Picayune reported that Graham will be a game-time decision.
"If it was up to me, I'd play," Graham said. "I'm good."
If Graham can't go, backup David Thomas, who caught a touchdown in last week's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, would be in line for his second consecutive start.
Packers WR Nelson questionable
In a week when they learned Charles Woodson and Greg Jennings are sidelined indefinitely, the Green Bay Packers will be without at least three more starters against Jacksonville on Sunday.
The Packers have ruled out fullback John Kuhn (hamstring), along with linebacker Nick Perry (knee) and cornerback Sam Shields (ankle) for the game at Lambeau Field. Perry and Shields also missed Green Bay's last game.
Fellow starter Jordy Nelson, who has been the team's top receiver in Jennings' absence, is questionable to play because of a hamstring injury.
Jennings will have surgery next week for an abdominal tear, and the team hopes the receiver will be back this season. Woodson, the team's veteran defensive back, is out for six weeks with a broken collarbone.
Cowboys rule out Murray; Jones questionable
The Dallas Cowboys officially ruled out running back DeMarco Murray and listed backup Felix Jones as questionable for Sunday's rematch with the New York Giants.
Murray will miss his second straight game because of his foot injury, and Jones, who started last week in Carolina, is in jeopardy of missing the game because of a bruised knee.
This likely means Phillip Tanner will see an expanded role and potentially start. Last week Tanner carried 13 times for 30 yards against the Panthers.
Jets LB Scott doubtful to play vs. Dolphins
New York Jets linebacker Bart Scott is doubtful to play Sunday against the Miami Dolphins because of a toe injury, meaning his streak of appearing in 119 straight games is likely to end.
Scott has not practiced all week because of a hyperextended big toe that has bothered him since the third game of the season. He played just nine defensive snaps against the New England Patriots last Sunday, and will likely be replaced in the starting defense by rookie Demario Davis.
Nose tackle Kenrick Ellis (left knee) and running back Bilal Powell (separated right shoulder) are also doubtful and not expected to play.
Running back-kick returner Joe McKnight is questionable with a sprained ankle, but has said he will play. Coach Rex Ryan also expects nose tackle Sione Po'uha to play after missing the last three games with a sore lower back.
