NFL power rankings - Examiner.com

1. Atlanta Falcons - Another shaky win for the Falcons, but they are the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL.

2. Houston Texans - A really ugly loss for the Texans, especially at home, but we will consider it a huge wake up call for now.

3. Baltimore Ravens - The Ravens have major issues on defense, and season-ending injuries to Lardarius Webb and Ray Lewis puts their Super Bowl chances in serious jeopardy.

4. New York Giants - New York's win at San Francisco goes down as the most impressive in the league to date.

5. San Francisco 49ers - The 49ers have little margin for error. If they turn the ball over or get behind, Alex Smith isn't going to bring them back.

6. New England Patriots - A stunning loss to Seattle, a team that is always really tough to play on the road.

7. Green Bay Packers - Now that looked like the Green Bay offense we all remember.

8. Chicago Bears - No game this week, but the Bears slide inside the top 10.

9. Pittsburgh Steelers - Ben Roethlisberger can't do it all by himself.

10. Philadelphia Eagles - Michael Vick and Andy Reid are equally as incompetent and erratic.

11. Dallas Cowboys - A heartbreaking loss in Baltimore, but at least the Cowboys have some confidence after pushing the Ravens around for four quarters.

12. Detroit Lions - A tremendous come-from-behind win in Philadelphia, the type that could really turn the season around.

13. Minnesota Vikings - The Vikings looked like they had total control against the Redskins, but things fell apart in the final three quarters.

14. Denver Broncos - Peyton Manning struggled in the first half but looked like the old No. 18 in the final two quarters.

15. Arizona Cardinals - The defense has come back down to Earth a bit while Kevin Kolb continues to show why he is not a starting quarterback.

16. San Diego Chargers - The Chargers lead 24-0 at halftime before surrendering 35 unanswered points. Unbelievable, until you realize it's the Chargers.

17. New Orleans Saints - With another Falcons victory, the Saints are set to turn their attention to gaining a wild card spot.

18. Cincinnati Bengals - The Bengals get a chance to bounce back this week against Pittsburgh, but they can't expect to win the division with losses to the Browns.

19. New York Jets - Shonn Greene ran like a man possessed, or a running back afraid of losing his starting job.

20. Seattle Seahawks - Fantastic comeback from the Seahawks, who once again showed just how tough it is to play in Seattle.

21. St. Louis Rams - The Rams really aren't all that far away from being a playoff contender.

22. Buffalo Bills - Big win for the Bills, who now sneak into a four-way tie for first place in the AFC East.

23. Oakland Raiders - Tough loss for the Raiders, but at least they showed some improvement after getting blown out twice on the road.

24. Washington Redskins - RGIII lead the Redskins to their first home win in more than a year. Ouch.

25. Indianapolis Colts - Andrew Luck and Co. looked like a team that had trouble responding after such an emotional victory last week.

26. Tennessee Titans - A season-saving victory for the Titans, especially with Houston's loss.

27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - The Bucs didn't have to worry about any kneel-down situations in a rout of the hapless Chiefs.

28. Miami Dolphins - It hasn't been pretty, but Miami finds itself in a four-way tie for first place in the AFC East.

29. Carolina Panthers - Cam Newton and the Panthers needed a bye to try and save their season.

30. Cleveland Browns - The Browns picked up their first win of the season, beating their Ohio neighbors to the south.

31. Kansas City Chiefs - Maybe Chiefs fans will now realize that Brady Quinn is not the answer.

32. Jacksonville Jaguars - Only a bye could save Jacksonville from another loss.
