It's been a fairly strong offseason for Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor. After a solid outing against the Chicago Bears, he might be challenging Matt Flynn for the starting job.
His first game against the Dallas Cowboys was just the opening act. He went 6-of-10 for 88 yards and an interception, adding 31 yards on three rushes on the ground.
Against the New Orleans Saints in the second game, Pryor took a step back passing (1-of-5, nine yards), but he still added 15 yards on four runs.
It was his third game, alluded to above, where he really made his mark. In stark contrast to Flynn, who we will get to shortly, Pryor went 7-of-9 for 93 yards and a touchdown, along with 37 yards rushing on four carries with a touchdown on the ground.
In a season where Oakland figures to struggle, starting Pryor at QB would make sense. After all, he's still only 24 years old.
