NFL WEEK 2: Live TV Channels and Game Schedules, Times – Sept. 15 - Sporting Alert

(Sporting Alert) — Week 2 action in the new NFL season continues on Sunday with a full schedule of games, following the midweek contest which took place on Thursday.

There are 14 games on the fixture for Sunday with the opening games starting at 1PM (ET).

The Green Bay Packers and Washington Redskins go in search of their first win of the season when they take on each other at Lambeau Field on FOX.

Green Bay were beaten 38-24 by San Francisco in their season opener last week, while Robert Griffin III and the Redskins lost 33-27 to the Philadelphia Eagles on an exciting contest last Monday night.

In the Eagles defeat, Griffin III, returning from a lengthy injury, looked a bit rusty but the sophomore quarterback dismissed reports about him finding excuses for some of his plays.

"I'm responsible for the way I play," Griffin III said. "You move on from it.

"I'm not going to sit here and say I was rusty. I've got to be accountable."

At the same time, Packers coach Mike McCarthy knows how much damage the former Baylor star can do once he's back to his familiar self.

"He's a mobile quarterback that has the ability to stretch the defense," McCarthy said.

"He has the ability to make plays in space and he can make all the throws. In any Mike Shanahan offense, it starts with running the football."

Also looking for their first win in the NFL 2013-14 season are the Buffalo Bills and Carolina Panthers at Ralph Wilson Stadium, Baltimore Ravens against the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium, while the Oakland Raiders take on a Jacksonville Jaguars side hoping to improve from their embarrassing 28-2 defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Elsewhere on Sunday, Eli Manning and the New York Giants go for their first win this season against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, which beat the defending Super Bowl champions Baltimore Ravens 49-27 in their season opener, while the late game between the Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers will be streamed live on NBC Sports online and TV channel.
