It has been all quiet on the Carolina Panthers' front, thus far, in free agency, which is nothing but bad news, given the state of the franchise.
The Panthers have completed two signings so far. One was cornerback Drayton Florence, whom the team better not be counting on as a replacement for Captain Munnerlyn, as he ranked No. 84 last season, according to Pro Football Focus.
Carolina also brought back backup quarterback Derek Anderson.
While it may be strapped for cash, the Panthers have to find a way to bring back Munnerlyn, along with players such as defensive tackle Dwan Edwards.
Carolina is in a rebuilding mode, and so far, this free-agency period has been a false start.
